NCPak Technologies has released BikeLog, a new utility application designed to replace scattered notes and mental checklists for motorbike owners.
The app consolidates maintenance schedules, fuel costs, and trip logs into a single, specialized dashboard. It addresses the common issue of missing service intervals by providing a structured, digital history of your vehicle’s care.
Digital Garage and Expense Tracking
The application functions as a digital logbook divided into three core components: maintenance, fuel, and identity.
- Service Checklists: Users can track specific maintenance tasks such as oil changes or tuning. The interface uses “Due” and “Done” status markers. These feature high-visibility Electric Yellow indicators, allowing users to instantly identify pending repairs without navigating through complex menus.
- Fuel & Trip Logs: The app records individual journeys and fill-ups. It automatically calculates fuel efficiency and total costs based on the data entered. Crucially for local users, it supports PKR, ensuring accurate financial tracking for daily commuters.
- Vehicle Specs: The “Garage” section stores static data, including license plate numbers and technical specifications. This centralizes vital information that is often needed during inspections or servicing.
Performance and Privacy
The user interface is built with a high-performance “Dark Mode” aesthetic, utilizing Dark Gray tones to mimic modern automotive dashboards. This design choice reduces screen glare during night rides and lowers battery consumption on OLED screens.
Regarding data security, BikeLog is designed as a personal utility tool. It processes your vehicle data locally to generate reports and alerts. Unlike apps that aggressively harvest user location for advertising, BikeLog focuses on retaining your trip history and service logs for your personal reference and vehicle management.
